Why Is Global Warming Such A Hot Topic?
A temperature change of 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.6 degree Celsius) can have a large impact on the world around us. Recent work has indicated glacial melting, animal and plant behavioral changes, and over all climate change, can be attributed to a rise in average temperature of 1 degree. Whether the cause to these scientific results are agreed upon, the reactions are the same; something needs to be done. Because this is a global event, the global community can contribute to changing the present course of global warming.
