In a series of Canadian talks that wrapped up earlier this year, he said that new builds only account for two per cent of construction activity and 12 per cent of construction dollars spent. “This year I want to concentrate on the other 98 per cent,” he said. Thermal Minimums Raised
 For the first time in over 19 years, ASHRAE has increased the minimum required prescriptive R-value (resistance to heat flow) for roof and wall insulation levels in Standard 90.1 – the national model energy code for commercial buildings. |
